Hello, I am Steve and I would like to welcome you to my website. I live in the village of Chesterton , just north of Newcastle under Lyme, in the county of Staffordshire . I have kept different breeds of rabbits for over 40 years. I now specialise in Miniature Lops. I have built my Mini Lop stud mainly from stock supplied by Mrs Phylis Chell who lives in Nottingham, and also from stock personally imported from friends in the Netherlands with the help of Mr Phil Batey.

Originally the Mini Lop was developed in Holland and imported into the United Kingdom . Over the years dedicated breeders have developed the breed to increase the range of colours available and also to produce rabbits that meet the standard required to be able to show their stock. Visiting a rabbit show is a good way to see the various colours and patterns available. New colours are also being brought out from time to time.

I am currently breeding Mini Lops in the following colour/pattern variations

Blue Butterfly
Black
Black Butterfly
Blue-Eyed White
Chocolate
Otter

Although I rarely show my stock they are carefully bred to meet the standards required by the British Rabbit Council

Lop eared rabbits are well known for there nice nature, and can be handled by people of all ages. They make good traditional pets and can be raised as house rabbits.

I often have youngsters for sale and occasionally some adult breeding stock is available, to make space for younger stock that I wish to keep. Please feel free to contact me if you are looking for pets or breeding stock, I will do my best to supply you.
